Professor Tomila Lankina elected as Fellow of the British Academy

We're thrilled to announce that Tomila Lankina, Professor of International Relations in the department, has been elected as a Fellow of the British Academy in recognition of her outstanding contribution to the humanities and social sciences.

Tomila has expertise in democracy and authoritarianism, mass protests and historical drivers of human capital and political regime change in Russia and other countries. She is currently researching social structure and inequality.
