Chiara Chiavaroli is a PhD student in the Department of International Development working on environmental conflicts and the overlapping between environmental and reproductive justice in coca-farming and artisanal gold-mining communities in Northern Colombia.

She is an anthropologist by training, and holds a BSc in Anthropology from the University of Bologna (Italy), an MREs in Anthropology from UCL (UK) and an MSc in Environment and Development from the University of Copenhagen (Denmark).
