The Global School of Sustainability at LSE (GSoS) has celebrated its first six months with a launch report covering its startup phase.

The GSoS Launch Report details a wide range of initiatives and projects under the GSoS framework - including activity in research, policy engagement and student experience - with action and impact at the forefront of its strategy.

Professor Charles Stafford, Executive Director of the Global School of Sustainability, said of the publication: "This report is a milestone for GSoS - in six short months, under the leadership of our Chair, Professor Nicholas Stern, and our Acting Dean, Professor Elizabeth Robinson, we have worked together to develop a wide range of initiatives and action for sustainability across five key themes.

"Given that the challenges to sustainability are primarily to found in our economics, politics and societies, GSoS is harnessing the social sciences to steer a course to global sustainability."
