This is a career development research and teaching position - fixed term for two years
The Global School of Sustainability (GSoS) is a major new interdisciplinary centre for sustainability research and impact at LSE. We are seeking to appoint up to five fixed-term LSE Fellows with expertise in the social science of sustainability.
These Fellowships provide a development opportunity for those with exceptional potential in research and scholarship. During their two-year appointments, LSE Fellows in the Social Science of Sustainability will have the opportunity to develop their research trajectory and their portfolio of contributions to education and student experience. On the latter, the main contributions may include: teaching and advising students; helping deliver a range of student learning and engagement activities (e.g. field trips and research projects); convening workshops and other events which both staff and students can contribute; helping develop lifelong learning initiatives (such as Executive Education); and/or mentoring GSoS scholarship holders at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Fellows will also be expected to contribute actively to the life of the Global School of Sustainability – attending events, stewarding visitors, being present on our campus and collaborating with us on developing new GSoS initiatives as we take these forward.
