State of AI and Society | AI's Quantitative Impacts on Labour Markets

The interactive literature tree organises 138 publications along three dimensions: the type of AI they study, the vintage of the underlying data and whether the evidence is potential or actual. Clicking on a study in the interactive tree reveals its academic lineage. The tree also labels each publication by the geography it covers and the AI deployment mechanism at play.

Appendix A of the report, State of AI and Society: AI's Quantitative Impacts on Labour Markets, defines each dimension in full and provides instructions on how to read the tree.

We want the tree to keep pace with a fast-moving literature, so please get in touch if there is work you think we should add, or if you would place a study differently.

The interactive literature tree was conceived and built by LSE PhD students.
