Robert Rogers wins WCIB Dissertation Prize

The Department of Finance is pleased to announce that Robert Rogers,an MSc Finance & Economics graduate, has been awarded with the WCIB prize for his dissertation entitled "Bank vs dealer capital as a priced risk". The Worshipful Company of International Bankers (WCIB) awards prizes each year to a number of participating institutions.

The WCIB will award Robert with a certificate of merit, along with a cheque for £300.

Robert has continued his studies within the Department of Finance, and is currently in his first year of the MRes/PhD Finance programme.

Thomas Raoux (MSc Finance 2016) for his dissertation entitled "Determinants of the Method of Payment in U.S Mergers and Acquisitions".

Jamie Reid(MSc Risk & Finance 2016)for his dissertation entitled "On the origins and failures of prospect theory: proposing a new utility function".
