We train our MSc students to think deeply and rigorously about economic problems, imparting advanced analytical and technical skills that are highly prized by global employers, research centres and academic departments across the world.

Programmes

  MSc Econometrics and Mathematical Economics
  Prepare for PhD study in Economics, or a career in quantitative economics or econometrics, with this challenging and technically rigorous master's programme.

  MSc Economics
  Develop your knowledge of core economic models and methods, with world-class training relevant to careers such as an industry economist, policy-maker or researcher.

• 

  MSc Economics (two-year programme)
  Draw on your strong quantitative background to build a robust foundation in economic theory and quantitative techniques during the preliminary year. Once you meet the progression requirements, you will be able to undertake the one-year MSc Economics in Year 2.

This is a challenging yet inspiring programme. I’ve learnt to think for myself, work independently and take initiative while maintaining a strong sense of belonging in a large and diverse cohort. As well as examining cutting-edge research and industry best practice, you have the motivation and methodology behind studies explained to you in person by those that conducted them.
