Yasaman is a PhD Economics candidate in the Department of Economics. Her primary research interests are the economics of crime and the economics of education.
Before joining the programme, she took a research internship at 505Economics, a green economy diagnostic project for the World Bank. She also worked as a teaching assistant at the Sharif University of Technology.
Yasaman holds an MSc in Economics from LSE and a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology.
