
About
Marie is a PhD Economics candidate in the Department of Economics at LSE. Her primary research interests are macroeconomics, monetary economics and financial economics.
Before joining the Department, she worked as a research assistant at the LSE on topics in financial economics. She has also been employed as a trainee at the German Development Bank KfW, and as an intern at the OECD Development Co-operation Directorate, BCG, and McKinsey. Marie is currently a PhD intern at the Bank of England and a Research Scholar at the Institute for Fiscal Studies.
Marie holds a BSc in Business Administration from the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, and an MSc in Economics from LSE.

Dataset on the Global Network of Liquidity Lines (current vintage 3, December 2025)
- Liquidity lines are agreements between central banks to exchange or lend local currency to one another. The dataset covers all agreements (to the best of our knowledge) between 2000 and 2025 across the world and is free for anyone to use.
