Hema is an MRes Economics student on the MRes/PhD Economics programme in the Department of Economics. Her research interests lie in the areas of development, environmental and labour economics.

Before joining the programme, she worked as a predoctoral researcher at the Yale Economic Growth Center.

Hema holds a BComm (Hons) in Econometrics and Economics from Monash University and an MA in Economics from the University of Toronto.
