In addition to two workshops, in the 2023-24 academic year, the LSE Historical Economic Demography group hosted additional events including a launch event for members to get to know one another, a workshop on census linking in the British context, a series of seminars on computer vision and automatic record transcription, and discussion groups around important new papers in the field. The group will also co-sponsored Eric Schneider’s inaugural lecture in November.
