Data Science Institute Annual Report 2024/25 published

The Data Science Institute (DSI) at the London School of Economics and Political Science has released its Annual Report for 2024/25, showcasing a year of dynamic growth across teaching, interdisciplinary research, and a vibrant programme of events.

The report highlights the Institute’s expanding portfolio of projects across data science and AI, as well as its commitment to playing a leading role in guiding AI advancement through strategic appointments, partnerships and public engagement. It also reflects on key milestones and initiatives that have shaped the DSI’s trajectory over the past year.

The past year has been an exciting and eventful one for the Data Science Institute (DSI), as we build on the solid foundations established by our Inaugural Director Professor Ken Benoit and the excellent team he created. We have grown activity across all dimensions of our mission to convene, catalyse, and communicate the London School of Economics and Political Science’s world-leading activity in data science, through community-building, partnership development, research, education, and public engagement.
