Jacqueline specialises in qualitative research with interests in the quality of life of older people, digital inclusion, and the quality of care in residential care settings.  

Prior to joining the LSE, Jacqueline worked as a nurse on psychiatry and neonatal units in Montreal, Canada, and a geriatric unit in Tuebingen, Germany.

Jacqueline holds a PhD in Social Policy from the London School of Economics, an MPhil in Development Studies from the University of Cambridge, a B.Sc Nursing and a B. Commerce from McGill University, Canada.
