About me

Hannah is a Research Officer working within CPEC on the RAPPORT Study. This is a realist evaluation of the Action on Postpartum Psychosis peer support model currently delivered within Mother and Baby Units in England. The study uses qualitative data to explore what makes peer support work, who it works best for, and under what circumstances. Hannah is a highly experienced researcher within the perinatal mental health field. Her previous projects include the recent COSI trial, a randomised controlled trial evaluating the Circle of Security-Parenting programme within an NHS Perinatal Mental Health Service context. Alongside her Research Officer position in CPEC, Hannah is co-ordinating a qualitative project exploring individual experiences and mental health support needs following early pregnancy loss. This study aims to develop a group, peer-led intervention to support mental health difficulties following a pregnancy loss before the 24th week of pregnancy which can be tailored to meet the needs of different communities. Hannah holds an MSc in Child Development and is currently a PhD candidate in Psychoanalytic studies at UCL. Her PhD thesis explores the relationship between clinical perinatal mental health difficulties, interparental conflict, and treatment outcomes.
