City Government Innovation Capstone

Each year, alumni cities of the Initiative are invited to submit a consulting project related to a key priority challenge. Successful cities will be allocated a team of LSE students who are studying either a Master of Public Policy or a Master of Public Administration, and who are undertaking the Capstone project as the culminating academic assignment. These projects offer students the opportunity to work on a real-world policy challenge or research question over a six-month period.

At the conclusion of CGI Capstone, the student team will present their research and findings to city hall representatives along with a 15,000-word report, project proposal, policy recommendation, or business plan.
