The LSE FORGOOD initiative aims to bring the transformative power of behavioural science to businesses. Our Hub Programme, designed to help LSE experts turn their ideas into specialised consultancy offers, provided the essential support to scale this initiative.
FORGOOD is an ethical framework designed to guide the responsible and effective use of behavioural science. Developed by Professor Liam Delaney, Annabel Gillard, and Bishin Ho, it enables organisations to build fairer, more accountable interventions by embedding ethical thinking into every stage of design. Drawing on extensive research and real-world experience in applying behavioural science across public policy, financial services, health, and the workplace, the framework was created in response to the growing recognition that ethical considerations must be central to behavioural interventions.
FORGOOD - standing for Fairness, Openness, Respect, Goals, Opinions, Options, and Delegation - aims to prompt systematic reflection on key ethical dimensions, supporting better outcomes and strengthening trust within organisations.
Through LSE Consulting’s Hub Programme, we worked closely with the FORGOOD team to refine their brand identity, develop professional marketing materials, and design both a website and a dedicated online platform for member engagement. This collaborative effort culminated in the successful launch of FORGOOD’s standalone web presence and the growth of an active, engaged community of organisations committed to applying behavioural science in an ethical and effective manner.
