Gift One Hour
How long does it take to shape the world? We think just one hour a month can make all the difference. Joining in is easy - just sign up to participate in the Gift One Hour programme, and choose any of the opportunities below each month to reach your one hour!
Our Gift One Hour programme is designed to help alumni advocate for LSE globally, raise LSE’s profile and amplify the School’s research, news and opportunities around the world.
Gift One Hour is for all LSE community members no matter where they live. Opportunities include sharing LSE news with your networks, facilitating connections with policy makers, institutions and thought leaders, amplifying the School’s strategic campaigns, or contributing your expertise and thought leadership to LSE activity.
Each month, volunteers select from and complete the activities outlined on the Gift One Hour advocacy hub. All opportunities and activities are designed to take one hour or less of your time to complete. Of course, we're only asking for one hour of your time, but you can respond to as many of the opportunities outlined as you wish!
Spotlight opportunity:
During the summer, five LSE alumni were appointed by Prime Minister Andy Burnham to join him in his cabinet. Congratulations to all LSE alumni in government, it's fantastic to see our alumni stepping into government and leadership positions, helping to shape the world.

Ask an Alum is a fantastic way to connect with the LSE community and to answer our students’ or alumni career questions.
