We were saddened to learn of the death of Andrew Marshall Carr (BSc Economics 1979) on 1 June 2020 at his home in Sydney, Australia.
Andy, who was 63, is survived by his wife Ruth, and three children. In the years since graduating from LSE, Andy had stayed connected with his peers – and had joined friends for an informal online Zoom reunion just the week before his death. Most of his working life – indeed right to the end – was in ship-broking, and that community will be poorer for his passing.
