LSE Alumni Shaping the World

LSE's alumni are making an impact across the globe
LSE alumni have been shaping the world since the School’s inception in 1895. Today that tradition continues with nearly a quarter of million alumni around the world driving change and shaping the world we all need.
During the 2023 People and Change LSE Festival a selection of our alumni were featured in a special exhibition: People and Change: LSE Alumni Shaping the World. Many of the alumni featured during the exhibit and for this special report were chosen by faculty and staff across LSE.
Across these pages you get a snapshot of LSE alumni across decades, industries, geographies and globally-significant themes. This is by no means a finite list; tens of thousands of LSE alumni have been, and continue to be, driven by a desire to transform our world and our societies for the better.
