Nominations for 2026-2029 Global Alumni Board member roles
Nominations are now open for the 2026-2029 Global Alumni Board member roles. There are eight ordinary board members working alongside the Chair, Vice Chair and two Regional Liaison Committee Co-Chairs.
Role: Member of the Global Alumni Board
Global Alumni Board members play an important role on the Board by representing the entire alumni community. The Global Alumni Board (GAB) composition reflects LSE's global community, and alumni members are called on to embody and advocate for all alumni in partnership with LSE, via interaction with the School’s Philanthropy and Global Engagement division (PAGE). The GAB is the expression of that partnership, given its makeup of 12 alumni volunteers and four members of LSE staff.
Global Alumni Board members may be assigned specific areas of focus or projects, depending on evolving Alumni Association, School and community needs. For the 2026-29 term, focus will be given to furthering LSE Shaping the World Campaign priority interest areas; an interest or involvement in these areas (personally or professionally) would be desirable.
Shaping the World Campaign priority areas

By uniting experts across 20+ disciplines with people-centric innovation, we will deliver effective, resilient, empowering and integrative approaches that strengthen democratic systems and improve citizens’ lives.

Using social science insight to understand how AI shapes societies and ensure it is developed and governed in ways that genuinely serve human needs.

Enabling every student to thrive at LSE regardless of their financial circumstance
