About me

Paul Dolan is Professor of Behavioural Science in the Department in Psychological and Behavioural Science at the LSE.  He is Director of the Executive Master's in MSc in Behavioural Science. His main research interests are in the measurement of happiness and in changing behaviour through changing the contexts within which people make choices.

He has over 120 peer-reviewed papers and nearly 30,000 citations. He has worked extensively with policy-makers and private companies. He has featured on various forms of media and is committed to making behavioural science more accessible to a public audience.

He is author of the Sunday Times best-selling book “Happiness by Design”, and “Happy Ever After”, and the creator and presenter of the Duck - Rabbit podcast, a journey through our polarised culture.
