About me

PhD Supervisor: Professor Sandra Jovchelovitch

I am a Colombian social psychologist interested in the processes of reconciliation in post-conflict settings. I am keen on understanding how social identities and social representations can be mediators of reconciliation in divided societies, particularly through everyday practices and interactions.

Since 2014, I have worked as an assistant professor in the Psychology School at Universidad de La Sabana in Chía, Colombia. My research is oriented towards understanding processes of recovery and wellbeing in victims of the armed conflict, as well as the reincorporation of former guerrilla members into society after the signature of the peace agreement with the FARC-EP in 2016.

I obtained my MSc in Health, Community and Development in 2014 from the Social Psychology Institute at LSE.
