About me

My research focuses on British policy towards Eastern Europe during the Second World War and the early years of the Cold War, with a particular emphasis on Anglo-Polish relations. My first book, British Policy Towards Poland, 1944-1956 was published by Palgrave Macmillan in December 2018. My next research project concerns the British response to the post-WWII refugee crisis.

I completed my PhD at the LSE in September 2014. My doctoral research was funded by the LSE Department of International History, the Universities UK Overseas Research Students Awards Scheme, and the Fondation Desjardins. Prior to my PhD, I studied literature and history at McGill University in Montréal, Québec, Canada, where I received my BA and MA degrees.
