Dr Richard Saich is an LSE Fellow in the History of American Foreign Relations. He is an historian of the United States and the World, with a particular focus on social and political change since the 1970s. His research interests include the history of political dissent and protest and the history of capitalism. He received his BA from Goldsmiths College, his MA from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), and his PhD from the University of Cambridge. Prior to joining the LSE, he was a Visiting Lecturer at City, University of London.
