Lila Ibrahim is Google DeepMind’s Chief Operating Officer, driving the strategic direction of how the company operates and engages with external partners. As COO, she oversees the AI company’s partnerships, social impact, external affairs, ethics an responsibility, legal, communications, and government relations. In 2023, Time Magazine recognized Lila on its inaugural list of The 100 Most Influential People in AI.
With 30+ years of experience working in senior positions as an engineer and technology executive, Lila developed deep expertise in emerging markets, including the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. She has spent her career building effective organizations and pioneering products to benefit the world.
