The panel will explore themes, from Dr Monokroussos’ and Professor Gortsos’ new book, around private sector over-indebtedness and challenges for policymakers, investors and economic agents. This event marks the launch of their new book, Non-Performing Loans and Resolving Private Sector Insolvency: Experiences from the EU Periphery and the Case of Greece.

Platon Monokroussos is Visiting Professor in Practice, Hellenic Observatory, LSE and Group Chief Economist and Deputy General Manager, Eurobank Ergasias S.A.
Dimitri Vayanos is Professor of Finance, Head of the Department of Finance and Director of the Paul Woolley Centre for the Study of Capital Market Dysfunctionality at the LSE.
