Workshop on Networks in Macro and Finance

Hosted by the Systemic Risk Centre
The Box, 5th Floor, Tower 3
Monday 19 June 2017 9am - 5.30pm

This event brings together researchers working in the emerging area that applies network theory to macroeconomics and finance.

The workshop aims to stimulate the academic discourse on the aggregate implications of network interactions in propagating and amplifying shocks in the economy. This event is open to anyone interested in network theory and its applications to macroeconomics and finance.

This event is generously supported by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC).

The Systemic Risk Centre (@LSE_SRC) was set up to study the risks that may trigger the next financial crisis and to develop tools to help policymakers and financial institutions become better prepared.

LSE holds a wide range of events, covering many of the most controversial issues of the day, and speakers at our events may express views that cause offence. The views expressed by speakers at LSE events do not reflect the position or views of The London School of Economics and Political Science.

From time to time there are changes to event details so we strongly recommend that if you plan to attend this event you check back on this listing on the day of the event.

Whilst we are hosting this listing, LSE Events does not take responsibility for the running and administration of this event. While we take responsible measures to ensure that accurate information is given here (for instance by checking that the room has been booked) this event is ultimately the responsibility of the organisation presenting the event.
