In order to comply with Data Protection legislation, all correspondence must include the following:

  • Full name
  • UCAS Personal ID or LSE student number
  • Date of birth 
  • Course code applied for

If you have applied via UCAS or hold an offer of a place at the School, you can contact us on our webform at  www.lse.ac.uk/ugContact

If you have not yet submitted your application, and have a question about a programme at LSE, you should contact our Student Marketing and Recruitment office by completing the web-form www.lse.ac.uk/study/meetLSE/contactUS.aspx 

We endeavour to respond to all queries within 2-5 working days.

Reporting Extenuating Circumstances

If circumstances beyond your control have had an adverse effect on your studies; for example illness or bereavement in your family, a natural disaster or political unrest in your country, please let us know. If you have submitted an application to the School, the Admissions Selector can take these details into consideration, before a decision is made. Below is a form, which can be used to ensure we receive any relevant information relating to your situation. The document can be sent to us via email and guidance notes on completing the form have also been provided. Please note that we are unable to guarantee that disclosed extenuating circumstances will result in a more favourable decision on an application.

Note: If you are submitting official or original documents, we will return these via regular first class post. Unfortunately, we cannot take any responsibility for documents lost in the mail. For these reasons we strongly suggest you send us photocopies instead. Udergraduate Admissions staff are available to answer your queries in person, on an appointment basis, from 9.30am to 4.30pm on most days. You should ring the office at +44 (0)20 7955 7125, or contact us via the web-form above to set your appointment.
