CONICYT

LSE contributes 20 per cent of the total tuition fee liability for scholars who have been approved by funding by CONICYT under their standard award programme. CONICYT cover the remaining fee balance. CONICYT normally expect their awards to be repaid following graduation; however the LSE contribution is not repayable.

Applications for these awards should be made directly to CONICYT, following their established procedures. You must apply directly to LSE for a place on a programme of study at the same time.

Applicants selected by CONICYT, who are also offered a place on a programme at LSE, will then automatically qualify for the 20 per cent fee contribution. There are no subject restrictions from LSE's point of view, but CONICYT may operate such restrictions, and details should be checked with them before application.

For further information on the application process, please refer to the CONICYT website.
