PhD student Jakub Bokes has written in Jacobin magazine, analysing the results of the recent Slovak elections. He argues that although the international press has widely reported the election as a win for "pro-Moscow candidate" Robert Fico, Fico's focus on fighting inflation has proven equally important, as voters suffer from three years of falling living standards.
