The LSE Law, Technology and Society Group hosted Professor Kate Klonick of St. John’s University, New York on Wednesday 8 January. Professor Klonick presented the findings of her 2019 research into the formation of the Facebook Oversight Board, giving insights into what she had discovered following over 100 hours interviewing and researching the Governance Team at Facebook that is creating the Board. A diverse audience of UK academics, policymakers, practitioners and researchers were given an insight into the results of this research will be published in an article in the Yale Law Journal in Spring 2020.
