Assistant Professor of Law Orla Lynskey has been appointed as one of five academic members to the EU Commission's multi-stakeholder expert group to support the application of the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). The appointment lasts for three years. The Expert Group will assist the Commission in identifying potential challenges in the application of the GDRP and advise on how to address them, and will advise on the preparation of delegated acts.
