Dr Ruth Kattumuri is Co-Director of the India Observatory and is responsible for developing multi-disciplinary research and programmes. With over two decades of experience in higher education in UK and India, Dr Kattumuri has pioneered several innovative knowledge development programmes.
Her research interests are in population and development issues, including: sustainable growth and inclusion; climate change policy; social protection; governance and public policy.
Dr Kattumuri is currently working on on research projects on Management of Natural and Renewable Resources; Education, Skills and Employability; Social Capital and Structures; Institutions; and Governance.
