Robert Basedow

Robert Basedow is an Assistant Professor in International Political Economy at the European Institute of the London School of Economics and Political Science. His research and teaching focus on EU trade and investment policy, international dispute settlement mechanisms and international regulatory cooperation.

In the past, Robert was an official at the Organisation for Economic Co-Operation and Development (OECD) in Paris and has advised the European Institutions, German government and House of Commons on trade and investment policy. Furthermore, he taught international economic policy at Sciences Po Paris and the College of Europe and has spoken on international media including the BBC, CNN, Arte and the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung. Robert works and publishes in English, French and German.
