Dr Tennant is a visiting teacher and researcher at The London School of Economics and Political Science. His research examines the interaction between values and reasoning when science and society come together, in domains such as climate change, neuroscience or driverless cars.
Dr Tennant worked for 25 years in the financial services industry in London before taking a Master's course and then studying for a doctorate at the LSE. His original undergraduate degree was in classical languages and philosophy, and he subsequently qualified as a Chartered Accountant.
