Latest vacancy: Phelan United States Centre Administrator

Do you want to join a dynamic and award-winning team supporting the delivery of activities and programmes to enhance the public understanding of the US and its global role? The LSE Phelan United States Centre is seeking full-time Centre Administrator to support our events and projects for the 2025/26 academic year.

On a day-to-day basis, you will: 

  • Assist the Centre Team with the management and delivery of the Centre’s activities, initiatives, and programmes including public lectures, international conferences, faculty workshops, and research seminars that promote deeper understanding of America and its role in the world.
  • Help deliver our Director’s conferences, seminar series, and other programming and initiatives that advance US-centred research and student engagement, facilitate university partnerships with US and other international institutions, and support visiting faculty.
  • Lead on the Centre’s popular student programmes, under the supervision of the Centre Manager, which can include the Undergraduate Research Assistantship and the PhD Summer Research Grant programmes. 

This position is only open to LSE graduates within the past 24 months, who have graduated to a postgraduate level. Applications from current students will not be considered.
