Walking tours

We give you plenty of options to make connections with fellow students while you’re away from home

2022_LSE_SS_437

We provide students with the opportunity of a guided tour of some of London's most famous attractions. These walks are free of charge and take around 1.5 hours.

These walks are a great ice-breaker to meet other Summer School students and make new friends. With these walking tours, you'll be able to learn more about London while exercising your conversational English skills.

These are free events, tickets will be released the week before each event.

Royal London Walk

The Royal London Walk takes students on a historical journey, going past Buckingham Palace (above), the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey and Big Ben. The walk takes students to some of the oldest shops in London, homes of British Royalty and a stroll through the Royal Parks.

City of London Landmarks Walk

The City of London Landmarks Walk offers students a more cultural adventure, starting at Sir Christopher Wren’s monumental St. Paul's Cathedral (above), students walk past the reconstructed Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre and through London’s contemporary sights, such as the Tate Modern and Borough Market. Students are able to take in the beautiful London skyline before ending the walk at London Bridge Station.

I just fell in love with London, I think the architecture is beautiful – it represents both the historical side of London and it's modernity. It's a very diverse city.
