Congratulations on receiving an offer to study at LSE!

We are pleased to invite postgraduate offer holders to join a special reception in Beijing, where you will have the opportunity to meet fellow incoming students and connect with members of the LSE community before beginning your studies in London.

Offer holders are invited to arrive early for a dedicated welcome session (6.15–7.00pm), prior to the start of the main alumni reception (7.00–9.00pm). This session is designed especially for offer holders and will provide a valuable opportunity to meet your future peers, learn more about the LSE community, and begin building connections ahead of your arrival in the UK.

Following the welcome session, you will be invited to remain for the main reception hosted by LSE Alumni China, featuring Professor Susana Mourato and Professor Giles Atkinson. During the reception, they will share updates from the School and highlight recent developments in LSE’s teaching and research. The evening will also include opportunities to meet LSE alumni based in China and expand your professional and academic network within the wider LSE community.

Refreshments and canapés will be provided.

Spaces are limited and advance booking is required. Please reserve your place via the “How can I attend?” section.

We look forward to welcoming you in Beijing and supporting you as you prepare for your journey to LSE.
