You're now #PartofLSE. What's next?

Welcome is a programme of activities and events that will help settle you into life at LSE. In this webinar you’ll learn more about what to expect, providing an introduction to the orientation sessions, campus tours, social events, academic inductions, and more that make up the Welcome programme.

This interactive session will include:

  • Information to help you settle into your studies at LSE.
  • Practical advice to help you plan your Welcome experience.
  • The chance to hear from representatives from LSE and the LSE Students’ Union.
  • A Q&A session to get your questions answered.

What is Welcome?

Welcome is a programme of activities and events that will help you become part of LSE. During Welcome you’ll interact with new people, learn what to expect from your LSE education, and complete key administrative tasks. The main Welcome period takes place from Monday 18 to Friday 24 September and includes a mixture of compulsory and optional activities. Visit the Welcome website for more information.

About Destination LSE events

Destination LSE events are designed to welcome our newest students into the LSE community. Whether you're an incoming undergraduate, graduate or study abroad student, these informal events will help prepare you for life on campus and in London.

Each event is designed to help you answer a simple question about your next steps, or what to expect from LSE. The series will cover topics including where to find accommodation, budgeting, career development, joining Students' Union clubs and societies, finding part-time jobs, the learning support available to you on campus, and what to expect from your first weeks at the School.
