How to become a Recognised Teaching Centre (RTC)

Institutions that partner with LSE and the University of London join an elite, vibrant and fast-growing global community of academic excellence that is committed to accelerating access to education of the very highest calibre. Our programmes will complement your own portfolio, providing choice, opportunity and an international qualification for your students.
Becoming a Recognised Teaching Centre (RTC) carries a raft of benefits both for institutions and the student communities that they serve:
- Accessible Internationalisation
Students can pursue an LSE-designed degree and obtain a University of London qualification without needing to relocate – a compelling offer for prospective students. They also have the advantage of studying in a local campus environment, enjoying the benefits of face-to-face learning and an international curriculum taught by local experts. - Cutting-edge curriculum
You will leverage curricula expertly designed by renowned LSE faculty, underpinned by their cutting-edge research. The Global Programmes’ curricula are calibrated to respond to a range of different global contexts, meaning that students can apply their learning across a wide variety of organisations, industries and geographies. - Dedicated learning resources for partner faculty
Recognised Teaching Centres receive comprehensive and continuous academic and administrative support, including onboarding and course curricula through the Virtual Learning Environment, as well as access to the University of London Online Library and marketing materials. Centres also benefit from bespoke workshops organised by the LSE Eden Centre for Education Enhancement, which focus on developing academic and teaching staff, curriculum enrichment and digital innovation. - LSE faculty engagement
Over 200 LSE faculty are engaged in the programmes, demonstrating our deep commitment to their success. In addition to curricula design and assessments, our faculty engage with you on course developments, online webinars and in-country recruitment and graduation events. We also welcome partner institutions to LSE for our annual conference, timed to coincide with the University of London student graduation ceremonies. - Life-long learning and employability for students
Our learners join a vibrant global community of students and influential alumni, from leaders in business and industry to Nobel Prize winners. An LSE-directed University of London qualification opens doors to a wealth of opportunities for students to further their academic prowess, broaden their horizons, and find employment with leading organisations all over the world. Alongside the academic content, students also benefit from tailored study skills and careers workshops from LSE and the University of London.

Our collaboration with the University of London and LSE on double degree bachelor programmes has significantly elevated the educational standards at our school and in Serbia in general. These programmes offer students exceptional opportunities to study world-class curricula in Belgrade and obtain prestigious degrees. Many graduates have advanced to pursue master’s studies at top global universities or embarked on successful careers with esteemed companies both in Serbia and abroad.
