Overview

The decisions leaders make today carry more weight than ever before. Amid geopolitical volatility, organisational complexity and the rapid rise of AI, leaders need rigorous ways to make unbiased judgments and high-quality decisions under pressure.

This programme equips senior executives with analytical frameworks, cognitive insights, and proprietary tools to sharpen strategic judgments, and make complex decisions with confidence.

At its core is the Decision Canvas™, an evidence-based tool that has supported over 400 strategic decisions worldwide.

Through its six-step process, you will learn to define decision problems, identify cognitive biases, apply targeted debiasing and choice architecture techniques, and use AI-augmented tools to strengthen strategic judgement.

Drawing on an interdisciplinary approach spanning management, economics, cognitive and decision sciences, this five-day programme transforms how you make decisions, not just what you decide

Impact

Sharper judgments, stronger decisions, and immediate impact for you and the organisation you lead.

Programme Content

During the highly interactive five days, participants will apply the Decision Canvas™ to strengthen their strategic decision-making capabilities across several key topics:

  • Framing decision problems strategically and identifying hidden objectives
  • Making better judgements and understanding the impact of cognitive bias
  • Implementing powerful, targeted debiasing and choice architecture techniques
  • Building bias-proofed decision scorecards
  • Leveraging AI-augmented decision tools to enhance the quality of strategic decisions
  • Learning from real-world cases of successful and failed decisions
  • Improving organisational decision making by building processes, culture and capability

How you learn

Learning on this programme is immersive, interactive and deliberately challenging.

Over five days, you work through the Decision Canvas™, applying each stage to live decision challenges drawn from your peers' and your own professional context. You will also use AI-augmented decision tools throughout, exploring how emerging technology can strengthen your decision processes.

Faculty combine world-class academic expertise with extensive applied experience across the private and public sector. Sessions integrate decision simulations, role-play, group exercises and case studies, moving concepts from theory to practice in real time.

You also receive personal feedback on your decision-making competency, identifying your individual bias-susceptibility profile and areas for development.

Drawing on insights from management, economics, cognitive and decision sciences, the programme offers a distinctive interdisciplinary perspective on strategic decision making that no single-discipline business school can match.

Who attends?

This programme is designed for senior executives who carry responsibility for high-stakes, strategic decisions. Participants come from across the private, public and third sectors, representing industries and organisations from around the world.

Whether you lead a global corporation, a government body or a fast-growing enterprise, you will join a diverse cohort of peers navigating the same challenge: making better decisions in an increasingly complex and uncertain world.

Zarpina Kabir

"Some of the principles I learned are already coming into the framework of my day-to-day – I’ve started to stop and think during my decision-making process, balancing strong solutions with strategic objectives."
