The Violet and Peter Knudsen UG Scholarship is intended to support Home fee status undergraduate students admitted to the LLB programme at LSE who would benefit from financial assistance in order to take up their place.
Named in recognition of the philanthropic gift from the estate of alumna Violet K Knudsen, and in memory of her son Peter, the scholarship reflects a motivation to help create opportunity for students who may encounter barriers to progressing to higher education.
Priority consideration may be given to students ordinarily resident in the UK outside London and the South East, with the aim of supporting talented individuals to overcome financial and structural challenges that might otherwise limit their ability to pursue university study.
These scholarships will support undergraduates with Home UK fee status holding an offer of admission from the LLB programme at LSE.
The value of this scholarship is:
- up to £10,000 per year of study for a three year programme
