University of London Scholars Programme

University of London’s strategy to help young people across London flourish – while narrowing social, economic and health inequalities. As well as aiming to close the attainment gap between students, its central purpose is to provide significant funds to help with tuition fees and the cost of living for ‘estranged’ students, those from ethnic minority backgrounds, and students with experience of living under the care of a local authority.

How to apply

Once you have an offer of admission (conditional or unconditional) to attend LSE, you should submit by email to financial-support@lse.ac.uk the following:

  • LSE Undergraduate Scholarship Application form
  • One academic reference - this can be sent by you together with your scholarship application, or it can be sent to us separately by your referee
  • Supporting documents - this will vary dependent on the information you have provided; further guidance can be found in the scholarship application form

The deadline for the receipt of LSE Undergraduate Scholarship Applications for offer holders with Home fee status is: 1 June 2023

All scholarship application decisions will be sent by email by the end of August 2023. Please ensure that our domain name - lse.ac.uk - is added to your safe senders list and routinely check your junk/spam folders. 

By submitting your completed LSE Undergraduate Scholarship Application, you will be considered for any LSE scholarships for which you are eligible.
