LSE PhD Studentship in Anthropology

The Department of Anthropology is delighted to offer one LSE PhD Studentship in Anthropology to a new student on the MRes/PhD in Anthropology programme. This is a four year studentship covering tuition fees and providing a stipend for the duration of the studentship. 

The successful candidate will be selected on the basis of outstanding academic merit and research potential.  

Eligibility

To be eligible for consideration for this funding you must meet the following criteria:

  • have applied for and received an offer of admission to the MRes/PhD Anthropology
  • have either Home fee status or Overseas fee status 

Studentship amount

One studentship is available. The value of this funding is:

  • full tuition fees covered at the Home or Overseas rate for up to four years
  • annual stipend of at least £22,780 for up to four years
