Khodorkovsky Scholarships

LSE is pleased to announce the Khodorkovsky Scholarships for all levels of study, commencing in the 2026/27 academic session, which are being set up in honour of Mikhail Khodorkovsky.

Eligibility

To be eligible for consideration for this scholarship you must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a citizen of Russia
  • Have undertaken your first degree at a Russian University in any subject
  • Demonstrate financial need and exceptional academic merit 
  • Hope to return to Russia for at least one year after the completion of their studies at LSE, when circumstances arise making it appropriate for such a return, to make a meaningful contribution to development of Russia

Scholarship amount

 

Scholarships are expected to be available to cover all levels of study, on any programme and provide funds for both tuition fees and a stipend to cover living costs.
