Catherine and Joyce Wood Scholarship

The Catherine and Joyce Wood Scholarship was established by Alyssa Banner, an alumna of the London School of Economics, to honour the extraordinary lives and legacies of her grandmother, Catherine Wood, and her mother, Joyce Wood. 

The scholarship is designed to support Black and ethnic minority students who demonstrate academic excellence but require financial assistance to attend LSE

Eligibility

To be eligible for consideration for this scholarship you must meet the following criteria:

  • apply and be offered admission to any MSc programme 
  • preferred candidates will identify as black or from an ethnic minority background
  • demonstrate financial need in your Graduate Financial Support Application (see 'how to apply for a scholarship' page).

Scholarship amount

 

The value of this scholarship is £20,000, this scholarship will contribute to the tuition fees for the MSc programme.
