Cumberland Lodge undergraduate residential

Undergraduate students from across the Department spent a thought-provoking weekend residential at Cumberland Lodge in Windsor Great Park at the end of January.

Surrounded by historic architecture and open countryside, students, staff, and alumni came together for a programme featuring a session on ethics in data science, an alumni careers panel, research project presentations, reflection, walks, and informal networking.

We also welcomed Dillon Monteg, Engineering Manager at UnlikelyAI, who delivered a guest lecture on AI, its future and how to better implement ethics.

The weekend was led by Dr Gelly Mitrodima and supported by various members of the academic and professional services team.
