Tackling indoor air pollution - making the invisible visible

Indoor air pollution remains a largely invisible yet serious threat to health and wellbeing.

In this talk, Dr Sefi Roth explores how making air pollution visible through real-time information can change the way people respond to it. Drawing on new research, this talk will show how simple, timely feedback on air quality can shift behaviour and deliver meaningful improvements in everyday exposure and welfare.

Dr Sefi Roth concentrates on the economics of air pollution, exploring the impacts of ambient and indoor air pollution on health, human capital, crime, the housing market, and the economy more broadly. Dr Roth is also a member of the UK Clean Air Programme Steering Committee and the head of the Clean Air Programme Task and Finish Group ''A Clean Air Community''.
