Minorities And Philosophy (MAP) is an advocacy group for students and academics from a background that has been traditionally underrepresented in philosophy: disabled, ethnic minorities, first generation university students, LGBTQIA+, neurodiverse, women, or working class. Our vibrant MAP runs a mentorship programme for MAP community members, reading groups, grad school application workshops, social events and more.

AI Session

11.30am-1pm | Auditorium (Central Building)

This compulsory session provides students with guidance regarding the Department's rules on the use of generative AI. We will set out clearly when AI use is permitted and when it is not. We will also consider the benefits and the risks of using these AI in your learning. The session will explain why academic integrity of such critical importance and what the department is doing to uphold it. Much of the sessions will be devoted to Q and A: so come ready to ask whatever questions you have regarding AI use. Attendance is mandatory for all students in Philosophy.
