About
Yixuan Gong is a Visiting Research Student in Management (Organisational Behaviour Group). She is currently pursuing an Integrated Master’s and Doctoral Program (PhD in Human Resource Management) at the Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (SWUFE). She holds a B.A. in Financial Service and Marketing from a joint program between SWUFE and Audencia Business School, France, and attended the University of Cambridge as a business management exchange student.
Her research focuses on leadership, humour, emotions, and team dynamics, with a growing interest in the intersection between leadership and artificial intelligence. She examines how AI technologies reshape leader–employee interactions, influence leaders’ behavioural expressions (e.g., humour), and affect team creativity and emotional dynamics. Her work has been presented at major conferences such as AOM and IACMR, with manuscripts currently in review stages at leading journals including the Journal of Business Research, Journal of Organizational Behavior, and Journal of Management Studies.
